goBEYOND – brand / cms / carbon calculator / facebook app

We are very excited to announce the official launch of the goBEYOND website and Facebook app!
This project really encompasses all we do:
- brand design – web design – web planning & consulting – custom cms management tools – Facebook apps (3rd Party mash-ups) – community / world conscious projects
We designed the goBEYOND brand back in September 2008, it has been public, and seen everywhere since. We then went to work developing the website development along with the goB team. They had a lot of different types of content they wanted to deliver, along with a very rough idea for the calculator, and a desire to somehow harness Facebook to spread the word. We took these rough concepts and designed the site structure, visioned the Calculator, and designed the way it would interact with Facebook.
The results speak for themselves.. Tons of great information, delivered by a state-of-the-art Ajax and jQuery powered interface. A slick Carbon Footprint Calculator, with a Facebook app to track you and your friend’s scores and spread the word about the goBEYOND Climate Initiative.
The website is powered by our industry leading custom CMS (604cms), which took the goBEYOND team almost no time at all to start utilizing. They can manage all the areas of their website using our intuitive CMS interface. It’s pretty slick if we do say so ourselves.
The Facebook App tracks scores from the Carbon Calculator, and shows users top friends, offers a Profile box to display scores, and connects Facebook users, allowing them to see each other’s scores and discuss.
It was a real pleasure working with the goBEYOND team, and is always exciting being apart of green initiatives that make a positive impact on our community and world!
