who what where
604media is a design and development firm located in Vancouver BC. 604 was created January 2006, by Kelly Walker & Steve Rio, who have collaborated on development projects for over 10 years, and have been friends since high school. We thrive on fresh ideas, latest design standards, cutting edge technology, and open source solutions that advance the web community. 604media specializes in Custom CMS Solutions, eCom / Shopping Cart Systems, Multimedia & Webcasting, and Branding & Design. We also offer outstanding Canadian Web Hosting. We are proud to have worked with organizations from all over the world, including Canada, USA, UK, Africa, and Costa Rica.

We limit the amount of projects we take on to ensure that you get personalized service, involving at least one if not both of our Directors throughout the development process. If you are a client of ours, you have our cell phone numbers, and we even occasionally answer them! Seriously though, we care deeply about every project we take on. Beyond delivering amazing products, it is a mandate of 604media to share our success with our community and social causes. Approximately 15% of our work annually is provided at discounted rates, with an additional 10% of services being donated every year. This year we have focused on local organizations working with youth and the arts.

We are also very passionate about the environment and making a positive difference in the effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and waste. Everyone in the office commutes via public transit, bike, skateboard, or on foot. We currently use cars to commute for work less than 25% of the time.
