Simon Moore Creative Director

Simon Moore

Creative Director

Simon is from Wales, but we don’t hold that against him. From an early age his passion for design was apparent, first rearing it’s head when he painted his fathers car with a paint roller at the tender age of 6. After leaving the wild hills of North Wales Simon moved to the bright lights and big city sounds of Manchester to study Graphic Design in 1998. Graduating from John Moore’s university in 2004 Simon has since broadened his skill set to encompass web design and development and has worked as an art director for major blue chip clients. When not being a design/code ninja Simon can be found cruising on the local ski hills or sinking a cold one in the sun.
Aubrey Mendoza Web Developer

Aubrey has been interested in the world of web and technology since the late 90s. Feeling left out of his high school friends’ conversations on ICQ, Starcraft 1, and Wack-A-Mole, Aubrey received his first computer in 1998 and learnt everything he could to prove he can be better. On his quest to obtain bragging rights, he initially found an interest in digital arts and multimedia. He attended Art Institute for animation and multimedia, and worked as a web designer before realizing programming is where it’s at. After graduating from UBC’s web development program and working as a web developer, he wanted to take programming to the next level, ultimately graduating from BCIT. To this day, Aubrey has over 12 years of web development experience, specializing in front-end engineering and back-end technologies.
Dorian Gutowski Web Developer

Dale Walker Account Manager

Deep in the South African jungle, little Dale was organizing her teddies in order of size. Little did she know this obsessive organizing would be a life long trait many would learn to accept about her. She immigrated to Vancouver, with the rest of her family, in 1998 and used these finely tuned organizing skills to obtain a Finance diploma from BCIT, whilst concurrently working in retail. She is also almost finished her BBA degree at Capilano University. However, her passion for cleanliness, and organization has now taken a second priority. With two little ones, life is now anything but order and routine. She has accepted diaper changes in lieu of vacations, and the “all-nighters” now involve bottles of milk and scaring away monsters. Of course all this multi-tasking comes in handy when working for 604media team too.

At 604media, we love our clients. We are grateful that they entrust us with the responsibility of helping to build their visions and take pride in the work that we do for them. Without them, we would not be here doing what we do. Below are some of our clients, which help us to do what we love:

I have been working side by side with the team at 604media for the past 2.5 years and couldn’t be happier with both the output of the product and the level of customer service that has been extended to me over that period of time. They allow me the luxury of collaborating at all levels on every single project we work on, which ensures that our vision stays intact across the entire design, development, and implementation phase of every single idea that we bring to the table. – Thank you guys!

Brittany Hardy

604media took our raw ideas and fashioned them into a very functional, inviting site. They combined custom code with off-the-shelf solutions to save money and time. Our admin staff love the custom CMS and our community has been very positive about the site’s appearance and flow. Thanks 604media!

Blaize Horner Reich, Andrew Gemino & Chris Sauer

Creating an online identity with 604media was a prime example of how companies and the people who run them, can make magic together. The team at 604 were imaginative, responsive, efficacious, and of good cheer. Our audience feedback regarding our Sistahood Celebration website was overwhelmingly positive for both its visual and navigational design. The Working Arts Society looks forward to doing more projects with this talented team.

Vanessa Richards, Working Arts Society

It has been a pleasure working with 604media in the revamping of our website. As a not-for-profit organization, we had to rely on the help of a professional organization and 604media filled the bill.

This project felt somewhat daunting when we began – while we had a good idea, we weren’t exactly sure of our direction, what we wanted to achieve or how the site would look. From the very beginning 604 was able to focus our needs and gently direct us while being respectful of our opinions. You won our confidence early on in the process.

It’s rarely easy to work with a committee but the folks at 604 managed the challenge extremely well. They were knowledgeable, flexible and not shy about explaining what would or would not work.

To say we are pleased with the end result is an understatement – we’re truly delighted.

The feedback we have received is excellent – particularly in terms of the look and navigation of the site.

Fran Romer, Exeutive Director

This is one business move we are very happy we made. We have had other web sites but none of them brought us business like the 604media site has. The reason The Factory Studios has doubled our business this year is a direct result of 604media’s design and site mobility. We could not be happier.

John Maclean, President

I brought an ambitious creative vision to 604Media and they made it come to life with technical savvy, design flare, and a keen eye for the ‘big picture.

Carrie Mac, Owner

Without a doubt, I highly recommend 604media. Our company had our website and logo redone by 604media and we were very happy with the turnout. They listened to us and gave us exactly what we couldn’t produce ourselves. The team at 604media was professional and friendly, making the whole process easy on our end. Brendan, the Technical Director, even came out to our office to train our staff on how to use the new website. We have had a great response in regards to our new website and logo and we couldn’t have done it without 604media!
